First cross the Yangon River by boat before taking a private vehicle through countryside villages and farms to reach the coast.

At the seaside fishing village our local host family will serve you a traditional lunch with local seafood and refreshments.

Fishing at Yangon’s closest beach

Stroll along the beach, admire traditionally made bamboo and teak houses, hand crafted fishing boats and locals bringing in their catch.

A cold drink in a deck chair looking out to sea is highly recommended.

Some Highlights:

  • Open-air ferry-ride across the river

  • Swimming or paddling depending on the tide (it’s not crystal blue water but warm)

  • Home-cooked meal with our village hosts

Additional Information

Start: 8:00 am @ Pansodan jetty (ticket office for foreigners)

Return: Pansodan Jetty approx 4pm

Price includes:  English speaking guide, return ferry boat, private vehicle hire, home cooked lunch, drinking water, fee for local village hosts (minimum 2 people for tour to go ahead).
